DISAPPEARING TREES

 

I was awoken early this morning to the sound of chainsaws and to my dismay when I looked out of my bedroom window the beautiful Copper Beech tree in next doors garden was being chopped down.

Apparently they are re-landscaping.

Another garden will be filled with exotic species that do nothing for our wildlife.

Our birdlife has declined rapidly over the years that we have lived in this house and this will do nothing to help.

Such a shame.
